2024 marks our 23th year in business, and as part of our continuing growth we have relocated our showroom to a new, larger facility at 49 Raytkwich Road in Naugatuck.  This new location has allowed us to expand our used car dealership in CT, show a larger and more diverse selection of used cars for sale, and employ additional sales and customer support representatives.

To keep overhead costs to a minimum, we operate in a from a customer friendly, easy to access 15 acre facility in the Naugatuck Industrial Park.

A Better Way Wholesale Autos opened its doors in 1999, operating in a small used car dealership in Naugatuck, CT.  From day one, our goal has been to offer shoppers the greatest possible value in a pre-owned vehicle.  We have enjoyed many years of new and repeat customers, referrals, and overall growth - all while developing long-standing relationships with a lengthy list of banks and lending institutions, warranty companies, and parts suppliers.
Since then we have scaled our operation to offer vehicles at true wholesale prices to a much larger customer base.  We have grown to become the highest volume auto dealer in CT, but we have kept our goal the same: to offer the greatest value available on used cars for sale in CT.
We offer a variety of financing and extended warranty options for all credit tiers and budgets.  Our extensive experience and high sales volume will benefit you, as we can provide desirable financing options that most used car dealers can't!
We are a certified NAPA AutoCare Center, with ASE Certified Technicians, servicing all makes and models - foreign and domestic.  Each of our used vehicles undergoes a rigorous pre-delivery safety inspection to ensure it will be worry-free from the moment you pick it up.  We also provide all levels of mechanical repair service on-site - from oil changes to drivetrain and electrical issues, our experienced technicians will help get your used car or truck back on the road as soon as possible.
Behind the scenes, we put many hours of work into purchasing and pricing over 100 used cars, trucks, and pre-owned vehicles every week.  We strive to take the guesswork out of your shopping experience and we can confidently say that we offer the lowest haggle-free prices and the largest selection of cars for sale in the CT area.
A Better Way Wholesale Autos proudly supports various charities and local organizations including the Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Children's Hospital, local schools and police unions.  We believe in giving back to the community that has helped us grow to become the state's highest volume pre-owned auto dealer.

Simply said, we are not your typical used car dealership.  If you've shopped at other auto dealers before, be prepared for a different experience.  We are a high volume store focused on stocking a wide variety of used cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, and more, all offered at the lowest prices possible.  As a result of our busy environment, buying a vehicle can sometimes be confusing for those expecting a more traditional experience.  Below are some tips to make sure your visit to A Better Way goes smoothly.
1. Call ahead
We sell as many as 30 vehicles each day.  While we make every effort to keep our website up to date, a phone call to our sales department prior to coming in can confirm the availability of the used car, truck, or SUV you are interested in.
With a diverse and extensive inventory, even if the vehicle you're calling about is under deposit, we may have another in stock that will fit your needs. Ask one of our sales representatives about similar inventory if the vehicle you want has been sold.
2. Come prepared
Please have information about the vehicle(s) you are interested in ready, including a stock number if possible. 
If you are planning on financing, bringing important information like proof of residence (such as a utility bill sent to your address), proof of income (recent paychecks/paystubs), and your co-signer, if applicable, can help speed up the process and eliminate the need for extra visits.  Please bring a valid driver's license if you intend to purchase or test drive a vehicle.
3. On our busier days, be prepared for a short wait
We have over 20 sales representatives on duty during our business hours. However, our customers sometimes outnumber our sales staff, so there may be a short wait for the next available salesperson.  We know your time is valuable, so we do our best to coordinate our staff to minimize this. We provide a television, free refreshments and Wi-Fi in our waiting area.
4. Out of state buyers welcome
Many of our vehicles go to customers from other states across the country.  We have extensive experience with out-of-state sales, and can offer financing and registration in most states with little or no extra work on the customer's end.  We can provide transportation from airports and train stations for you convenience, or help find a shipping company if you'd prefer to handle the entire transaction from the comfort of your own home.

In the CT Valley region, there is the town of Naugatuck, where I believe I have found a better way to purchase used cars. I am writing this to express my thanks to all those at A Better Way Wholesale Autos. I had been searching for a used truck for some time, and then I cam across this company. After the pressure at dealers asking for deposits and many used car lots where I found high mileage autos at high prices, I found this place. Who would have thought - no pressure, an actual garage with ASE Certified technicians, and nothing but good looking, low mileage, late model autos. I was sure something was up! Not only did I get my truck at a fair price, but they actually put money into after the price was settled. New brakes, rotors, detailing, oil change and diagnostics to determine and engine fault. And a 6,000 mile warranty to boot - all at their expense. Rob the salesman was very cordial and helpful, but the owner told be stories about getting into this business and things he did to help his customers, sometimes at a loss. This closed the deal for me. Are these guys for real? Used cars? Buy them here. It surely is a better way.
